Educational work in Hydrobiological Station of Rhodes conveys to the general public the knowledge which has been achieved through scientific research.

·         Specialized training to under- and post-graduate students in cooperation with Hellenic and International educational institutes.

·         Academic lectures on Marine Ecology and Oceanography to undergraduate students by scientists of HSR upon signing of Memorandum of Understanding – signed in 2004 by the University of Rhode Island (USA) and HCMR

·         Public sensitization on issues relevant to sea life and need for its protection by organizing specialized lectures and seminars.

·         Environmental awareness and sensitization of pupils by organizing school visits.
